These terms govern use of EMR.com.hk, including browsing directory listings, creating a member account, submitting ratings or reviews, and submitting a doctor or facility profile. By using the website or registering an account, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines and the Review Policy.

What EMR provides

EMR is an information directory and moderation platform. EMR is not a doctor, clinic, hospital, booking service or emergency service. A listing, rating, verification note or search result is not an endorsement, recommendation, accreditation, guarantee of quality, or substitute for independent checking.

Member accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your password private, verify your email address when requested, and use one account for yourself. Do not impersonate another person, create accounts to manipulate ratings, or allow another person to use your account. EMR may suspend or close an account where necessary to protect users, the integrity of the directory or the law.

Reviews and ratings

Only signed-in members may submit a rating or review. Every submission is held for moderation and is not published automatically. Reviews must follow the Review Policy. EMR may reject, edit for privacy or formatting, request clarification, or remove content that is unlawful, unsafe, misleading, abusive, confidential or not based on a genuine experience. A negative review will not be rejected merely because it is negative.

Doctor and provider submissions

Submitting a professional profile does not create a doctor-patient relationship or guarantee publication. EMR administrators may request evidence, correct formatting, place a submission in draft or pending status, publish it, or withdraw it. A doctor may edit a profile only after administrator authorization.

Health and safety

Do not use EMR for emergencies or to obtain diagnosis, treatment or medication instructions. Contact the appropriate emergency service or a qualified healthcare professional. Confirm registration, service scope, fees, appointments and opening hours directly with the provider.

Changes and contact

We may update the website, these terms and moderation rules. The current version is shown on this page. If you believe content is inaccurate, unsafe or unlawful, contact EMR through the published contact address and include the relevant page URL. These terms should be reviewed by a Hong Kong legal professional before launch.
