Dr Debbie Lovell

Dr Debbie Lovell has a master’s degree in counselling from the University of South Australia and a doctorate in counselling psychology from the University of the West of England. She is registered as a chartered psychologist with the British Psychological Society and as a practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council in the UK. She also had specialty training in clinical sexology/sex therapy and is registered with the College of Sex and Relationship Therapists (UK). Debbie treats a broad range of issues that involve the interaction of mind and body (e.g., anxiety, stress, pain, sleep and eating disturbances) and has special interest in treating sexual difficulties (e.g., low desire/sexual interest, arousal difficulties, painful sex, sexual abuse, performance anxiety). She has also worked extensively with low self-esteem and shame. Her research interest is in female sexual pain disorders. Debbie lived in Hong Kong for over 25 years but is currently located in the UK. She plays a lot of golf and has a newfound love for gardening. She will be available via online consultations.
