Keiko specialises in supporting children aged 3 to 13 with dyscalculia and other maths learning difficulties. She provides personalised instruction in numeracy development, maths intervention, exam preparation, and overcoming maths anxiety, tailoring each session to the individual needs and learning style of every child.
Using multi-sensory teaching strategies, visual resources, and engaging activities, Keiko helps students build confidence, strengthen core mathematical skills, and develop a positive relationship with learning.
Keiko also specialises in supporting children who experience language barriers in mathematics. For students who have learned maths in Japanese and later move to an English-medium school, she helps bridge mathematical concepts and subject-specific vocabulary between the two languages. This enables children to transfer their existing knowledge, adapt more smoothly to their new learning environment, and continue progressing with confidence.
