Dr. Katie Farndale is a highly experienced clinical psychologist dedicated to supporting adults through a wide range of mental health challenges. With over a decade of experience, she has developed expertise in helping clients manage mood disorders, anxiety, and significant life transitions, such as parenthood, loss and career changes. Her approach is informed by evidence-based practices, such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and compassion-focused therapy (CFT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT). Katie has specialised knowledge in providing support to both mothers and fathers during the perinatal period, addressing issues from family planning and associated challenges to perfectionism, self-criticism, anxiety, obsessive/intrusive thoughts and mood disorders in the post-natal period. She is committed to delivering compassionate care that empowers parents during this critical time and assists them in navigating their transition into parenthood.
